The Drawing Room has hit the nail on the head. A warm, darkly panelled space dotted with locally commissioned artwork and lots of gorgeous touches like the handsome elephant on the bar, feather boa fringed mirror and black and crystal chandeliers. With a love of seafood, chef Trent Clarke has created a menu which makes it very hard to narrow choices to just one thing. My favourite's the fried squid with orange caramel and pickled ginger. Have a look at the photos of the launch night. Delectable champagne cocktails and plenty of tasters of the menu made me feel like I've got the best job in the world.
